MANAGING DIRECTORAndy Gait

Andy Gait has worked within the External Wall Insulation and Cladding industry for over 15 years and has a deep knowledge of the range of systems and solutions required to ensure projects are specified and delivered correctly.
Starting at Alumasc Facades in 2011 as a Sales Manager, Andy always noticed a gap in the market for high quality installation work. This led Andy to set up Profac Ltd in 2018 and since then the company has gone from strength to strength and grown organically to what we hope will be a £7m turnover year in 2026.
Outside work, Andy has been married for 22 years to his lucky wife Mel and has 3 children a cat and a Sprollie dog called Lottie!
Gardening and walking the dog are Andys main pass times but a few beers here and there is not unheard of too!

Melanie Gait BSc studied Business Management at Thames Valley University and has focused on the charity sector as a full time career. After working in the charity sector for over 25 years delivering corporate social responsibility and ethical marketing between companies, charities and the society Melanie's focus is aligning the corporate values with social economic initiatives.
Melanies focus is aligning the corporate values of Profac within the social economic initiatives of our surrounding projects, and Identifying local charities to support within those communities.
In her spare time, Mel loves a yoga class and a good walk with the family dog, Lottie

COMMERCIAL MANAGERJack Chandar

Jack leads commercial activities of projects from tender to final handover with a strong focus on client relations and contractual compliance. Jack combines commercial oversight with a strong technical knowledge, allowing him to engage confidently with design, delivery and construction teams. Previously, Jack worked client-side as a Building Surveyor, delivering project management and contract administration services. He graduated top of his class and is currently progressing through the MCIOB chartership.

OPERATIONS MANAGERAmy Stiven

Amy has over twenty years of experience in the construction industry, particularly in sales, estimating and project management. She is confident in her ability to contribute effectively to a team and drive successful project outcomes.
Throughout her career, she has consistently delivered projects within budget, to a high standard, and in a timely manner.
Amy has a proven track record of successfully working closely with site managers and designers, and costing construction resources including labour, plant, and materials. She has the ability to liaise with various stakeholders to ensure a project's success and her dedication to promoting best practices in health, safety, financial and environmental matters always yield high results.
In her spare time she is an avid runner and relaxes by running in the peak district!

CONSTRUCTION DIRECTORNeil Brookfield

With a career spanning 40 years, Neil is an experienced Construction Director and Contracts Manager defined by a unique "ground-up" perspective. Having started as an apprentice Carpenter & Joiner, he has evolved into a strategic leader with a comprehensive understanding of the entire project lifecycle—from initial concept and risk analysis to final delivery.
His expertise lies in navigating unique complex developments, whether working one off client or main contractor. He has a proven track record of managing multi-million-pound projects across Civil Engineering, Renewables, and Heritage works, consistently meeting ambitious briefs within stringent financial and temporal constraints. Expertly in NEC, JCT, and PFI contracts, he specialises in bridging the gap between technical requirements and commercial success.
Beyond the technicalities of construction, he is a firm believer that people drive projects.
Neil has been married for over 26yrs with a lovely family who have become successful in the own careers and proud of everything they achieve.
In his spare time he loves to relax by walking, gardening playing sports and watching sports with a relaxing past time of competing as an athlete in strongman competitions.

QUANTITY SURVEYORDermot McCluskey

With extensive working experience of delivering increased revenues for various blue chip clients Dermot Holds vast knowledge in quantity surveying, estimating and development, people management, specialist / planned works, commercial reporting, market strategies, supply chain management, cash flow projections, contract negotiation, cost savings, tender evaluation, buying and contract mobilisation
Away from my career, Dermot was Chairman of Prenton Rugby Union Club for 4 seasons and stopped playing rugby 6 seasons ago, with one of my last games being for a Cheshire Legends team. Worked closely with Charles Thompson Mission for number of years, assisting them with their charitable works. We hosted a Christmas day lunch for 80 homeless people at Birkenhead Park RUFC and had ex-footballer John Barnes as a waiter.

He played a key role in the early days of Profac, working as Contract Manager and as Andy’s trusted right-hand man, helping to establish strong operational and quality foundations.
Ben brings a meticulous eye for detail, a highly professional approach, and a reputation for being reliable and consistent, ensuring the highest standards are maintained across every project.
Away from work, Ben is always busy either playing tennis or chauffeuring his 3 young sons around, ensuring they are better at sports than him.

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT AND SALES MANAGERAiden Hughes

Aiden is a results-driven professional specialising in rendering, cladding, façade, and building envelope solutions across the UK construction sector.
He has a strong track record of generating new business, securing specification-led projects, and building long-term relationships with contractors, architects, developers, and project managers. Aiden delivers technically compliant, commercially viable façade solutions across residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments, with a thorough understanding of UK building regulations and fire compliance requirements.
Outside of work, Aiden is a keen sportsman and thrill-seeker, with a passion for skiing and yachting. A devoted father to two young daughters, he values resilience, discipline, and teamwork — qualities that naturally extend into his professional life

ESTIMATORPhil McCormick

Phil has been involved with Façade cladding design and installation for over 20 years. Over this time he has built up experience with all types of finishes including brick slip, aluminium, cement fibre, stone, slate and render.
He has the knowledge of through wall construction to ensure your building is accurately priced and compliant with all current legislation in all areas of the façade. Phil can accurately price and offer advice to ensure that your building façade is compliant with current legislation whether you have portal, concrete or timber frame substrates.
In Phils spare time he is also an avid golfer and can regularly be found on a local golf course enjoying the fresh air.
